  • Cours de yoga-danse pour toute la famille
Join this exciting online yoga-dance class for individuals, groups, or family members of all ages. Experience creative body expression and exploratory play through dance and yoga with contemporary dancer Juliana Mendonca. This experience is perfect for group gatherings, birthdays and other celebrations and is available in English and/or Spanish. Juliana is a Venezuelan performer, choreographer and teacher. She specializes in contemporary dance, Latin dance, as well as yoga and body expression for children and adults. With Juliana, you will develop dance skills using yoga poses, improvisation, games and simple choreographic exercises. We'll start with a warmup of yoga postures and physical games, getting in touch with our bodies and the movement. Next, is "movement exploration" where we'll explore dance games and moves while having fun with our strength, flexibility, and overall sensory perception. A fun mirroring activity challenges your creativity in a follow-the-leader format. At the end, put everything together into a freestyle and energetic dance sequence. Join us from a space where you can move comfortably. Cost of the experience is calculated per participant. Please feel free to request private sessions outside of the listed times, which start at a higher rate. By booking this social impact experience, you're directly supporting artists in ARTogether's community.

  • Les escaliers cachés de San Francisco
The perfect experience for the whole family! This breathtaking 2 mile walking tour of San Francisco's hidden stairways is the #1 rated Airbnb Experience in the Bay Area, loved by both locals and tourists alike. See gorgeous mosaic tiled steps and hear the stories behind them, then take in stunning 360° views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Golden Gate Park and downtown San Francisco. You'll also discover beautiful neighborhoods and gardens that many locals are not aware of and that tourists rarely see. Oh, and you might even go home with a succulent! I'll provide commentary, context and some history along the way. Generally SF is dry May-October. There can be fog in the summertime, mostly in the morning. Temps rarely above 70F (21C) or below 50F (10C). Rain may cancel. Guests should be reasonably fit. Though we don't cover many miles, some of the terrain is steep. It will be necessary to carry small children as strollers are not suitable. If you bring a guest that’s under 18, it’s your responsibility to make sure the activities they participate in are age-appropriate. Instagram: @hiddenstairsSF or hiddenstairsSF@gmail.com

  • J'ai navigué dans la baie de San Francisco !
PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID-19 I am limiting the number of guests to allow for maximum social distancing. Please contact me for larger single parties up to six guests. Thanks for your understanding. Welcome aboard my Downeaster 38, "Fred B. Wood"! Designed by renowned naval architect, Henry Morschlad, this Downeaster is in exceptionally good condition. Downeaster's are known as being stout and seaworthy bluewater cruisers. They can be found all over the globe. This experience is available for up to six guests! (Please note that I recently upgraded to a larger Downeaster 38 from an Ericson 27 which is shown in some of the photos!) Your three-hour adventure starts at Jack London Square. The route will depend on wind conditions; however, our goal is to cross the bay to see the marvelous sites of South Beach Harbor (home of the SF Giants), the financial district, the bay bridge, and then Treasure Island. During the tour, you'll see amazing wildlife; including, flocks of pelicans, sea lions, and the occasional dolphin! This is an active experience! I will review the basics of sailing (wind angle, general terms for operating the vessel, and rules of the road). You will take a turn at the helm (wheel), manage the sheets that control the sails, and raise and lower the sails. Naturally, you are also welcome to just sit back and enjoy the amazing views.

  • Fabriquez une couronne de fleurs
The design team at The Headdress Workshop will show you how to design an amazing headpiece in 90 minutes. Our students have made headdresses to wear for weddings, day of the dead events, Burning Man, High Tea, music festivals, fashion shoots and more. The only skill needed is the ability to use a glue gun. We have tricks and tips to make the process fun and easy. Our curated selection of faux flowers, butterflies, feathers, ribbons, shells and things that sparkle will give you lots of options to design something that is perfect for your style. And because all the materials are long lasting you will be able to wear the headdress over and over again. Bonus: you will be making your headdress on a recycled mannequin head which you can keep to display your headdress on.

  • Visite à pied du meilleur de Berkeley
Hear about the history and culture that makes Berkeley one of the most famous cities in the world. We'll stroll safely through campus and the surrounding areas. This activity is 100% outdoors, and attendance is limited so it's easy for everyone to keep at a safe distance from one another. We'll meet just outside the Paris Baguette Cafe at 2150 Shattuck Avenue just next to the downtown Berkeley BART station. We'll learn about Berkeley's downtown area, then cross through UC Berkeley's campus alongside tree-lined Strawberry Creek. We'll pass by the Free Speech Cafe and talk about Berkeley's protests. Finally, we'll walk the historic route from Sproul Plaza to People's Park. Afterward you can shop for one-of-a-kind jewelry and t-shirts on Telegraph Avenue. A number of restaurants are now open, so you can grab some lunch. Other things to note: This is a history-focused tour, but the topics we cover during our walk are flexible based on everyone's interests. Please be sure to tell Pam what topics you are most interested in and she can also adjust at any point in the tour based on the questions and topics that guests bring up as we stroll from downtown Berkeley to People's Park. Please wear comfortable walking shoes. I also recommend sunscreen and cash for refreshments and street artists. There are lots of great options for lunch and activities after the tour.
