SAN MARCOS - This is one of our favorite afternoon hangout places. We LOVE the laidback atmosphere! It’s got a great casual vibe! The food is good, the beer is good and they have live outdoor music on the weekends.

CANYON LAKE - Great little hole in the wall (food truck/ trailer) right down the street on 306. They make FANTASTIC burgers for a meal on the run. It's a popular joint for locals.

We absolutely LOVE New Braunfels... it's our home away from home. It's got everything a big city has with a small town feel. We are 'foodies' and have several favorite spots we frequent. It's only a 20-30 minute drive from the house.

Whether winery hopping, enjoying great cuisine, shopping, or discovering history through informative museums... Fredericksburg is an eclectic collection of tourist activities. Only an hour from Second Wind, the drive is spectacular! We highly recommend a visit.
