Downtown San Marcos is a beautiful historical town, plenty of dining options, many tubing sites, home to Texas State University. museums, nightlife, sightseeing. lots to do only 30 minutes away

Go float the river on a hot Texas summer day and finish off the evening at the square downtown with dinner and drinks. San Marcos is also home to Texas State University, which is a beautiful campus to walk around
