Great place for a walk, Ice creams, boating on the lake or a cuppa and cake in the cafe overlooking the lake.

Great place to walk at with or without children, play park and cafe also there and less than 5 minutes in the car. In the summer you can hire paddle boats.

Lovely place for the whole family. Beautiful gardens. Enclosed play area for children, a lovely cafe overlooking the lake lots of wildlife. Greenhouse with more wildlife and plants.

It has everything, Lake, parkland, gardens, playground, woodland, tennis & bowling facilities

A lovely place to walk around the lake. Boats to hire, a cafe and a glasshouse. Great play park for children

“This is a wonderful place to spend the day and explore whilst also supporting the National Trust. Tredegar house has various events on throughout the year, all of which are great fun, these include Easter egg hunt, may day, folk festival, pirate day, conservation day, meet the gardeners, behind the scenes tour, death and misery tour as well as a very scary Halloween party!”

“Castell Coch Welsh pronunciation: for 'Red Castle' is a 19th-century Gothic Revival castle built above the village of Tongwynlais in South Wales. The first castle on the site was built by the Normans after 1081, to protect the newly conquered town of Cardiff and control the route along the Taff Gorge. Abandoned shortly afterwards, the castle's earth motte was reused by Gilbert de Clare as the basis for a new stone fortification, which he built between 1267 and 1277 to control his freshly annexed Welsh lands. This castle was likely destroyed in the native Welsh rebellion of 1314.
