It's not just the City of Meereen (although it's the reason it's very popular right now :)) Fortress of Klis is really worth seeing when visiting Klis. It's the second largest fortress in Croatia and her historical heritage is immense. Through centuries it defended our nations independence. Of course,being born and raised at the foot of her great walls I'm deeply emotionally connected to it and it's forever my favorite place :)
