Beautiful and close for a short and leisurely hike along the Stansilaus River. Also has the longest-oldest covered briged west of the Mississippi.
A short drive to a small town in the foothills offering historic beauty .. including a covered bridge. There is a local favorite restaurant nestled on the flowing Stanislaus River in town.
Hike near the Stanislaus River, visit the Army Corp of Engineers museum or walk over the historic Covered Bridge.
