Temple’s Peculiarity: This famous Anjaneya temple is situated 12 km away from Pondicherry. This temple beams with the pride as it has the world’s second largest Anjaneya effigy in the world. Festivals: This temple is mostly crowded during Saturdays; some of the important festivals celebrated here are Krishna Jayanthi, and Vaikunta Ekadasi. Special Offering: Devotees offer Beetle garland, butter and clothes to Anjaneya. They also prepare vada garland for the Lord later they distribute it to the poor people. Timings: The temple is kept open from 7 am to 11 am then from 5 pm to 8 pm.
