you are able to walk from 99hostel to Phra Sumen Fort. it is a nice place to visit, a fort is riverside surrounded by old building and chic restaurant. you could see two bridges on left and right side of the river.

Phra Sumen Fort, built in the reign of King Rama I, has many beautiful and useful features. And until the year 1981, the Fine Arts Department has repaired and restored the original image from the reign of King Rama V until it was as elegant as it was. It also revamped the area around the park as well. By the name "Santichai Prakit Park" has a tabernacle called "Santichai Palace" The community around Phra Sumen Fort is strengthened in terms of high participation as well as the Mahachulal Community, but there are more varieties.
