The Livestock Show began as The National Hereford Show, 121 years ago in a tent in the Kansas City Stockyards. Since 1899, the American Royal Livestock Show has grown to become one of the largest livestock shows in the nation! Drawing an audience of owners, breeders, future business and agriculture leaders, and animal enthusiasts from across the nation.
