A 5 minute bus ride from Arabella will take you to the Science Museum. So many interesting exhibits, an OMNI Theater and a nice little restaurant.
-Several floors of "historic" science as well as "modern" science that are very "hands-on." -Also has the Omni theater to "sit back" and watch the movies in the dome.
The science museum is a great spot for people of all ages. The weather station and the illusion exhibits are my personal favorites.
One of the best museums due to a wide variety of exhibits and activities. Perfect rainy day option!

“Just off the freeway in St. Paul, this museum is the crown jewel of the Minnesota Historical Society's many museums. It offers a panorama of Minnesota history, music, a lovely cafe, and shop. In my opinion, it is one of the best places for lively kids to visit, offering great indoor interactive exhibits, with thoughtful spaces for kids to let off energy when weather keeps them inside. I've seen groups of kids spend over half an hour deeply immersed in working on the Hormel Spam assembly line!”

“Not your average Italian joint, Pazzaluna serves nothing but the finest selections dreamed up by an award winning chef. Pricey, but well worth! Bring your dress shoes and a tie, they use real tablecloths here :)”

Grocery or Supermarket
“The Lunds Grocery store is a two block walk from the "parking lot" side of the home. Great Salad Bar, Deli Counter, and Big Bowl Take Out (check out the family meal deal). Look for BOGO's (buy one get one specials) daily. Secret Tip: f you shop after 8 pm the bakery loaves are 2 for 1 also. Slice the seeded loaf up thin (bread knife in the drawer below the toaster) and serve with butter and jam for an easy breakfast the newt day. ”
