Free Most people don't realize the fortune cookie was invented in San Francisco. This is a historic factory where fortune cookies are made by hand and where you can create and purchase a custom fortune cookie that is made for you while you wait.

The delicious variety of fortune cookies! The fortune cookie was invented in San Francisco in Golden Gate Park. While the cookie has nothing to do with Chinese Culture it is a part of San Francisco history. The fortune cookie factory is a bit harder to find (Alleyways are streets in chinatown) but it is a gem and you can create your own custom fortunes!

A tiny factory that makes the fortune cookies fresh daily and also have broken ones that you can buy in big bags for anywhere from $6 and up. Great for souvenirs and snacks!
