Hestia is a really spectacular concept, with amazing food. The centerpoint of the restaurant is a 20-foot custom hearth where you’ll find chefs bustling around grilling over the open flame. When they’re not cooking up incredible small plates and entrees, the chefs stop by the tables to discuss the food, adding to that sort of intimate dining experience.

Texas BBQ is all fine and good, but for truly amazing food cooked over a live hardwood fire, Hestia is the place to go. Everything from peaches to dry-aged wagyu are touched by the flames of a post oak fire here. Hestia is also home to pastry chef Tavel Bristol-Joseph, who Food and Wine called a “pastry savant,” while naming him to their 2020 Best New Chefs list. So don’t skip dessert.
