This short and steep popular 4.8 mile loop hike will reward you for your efforts with gorgeous views of the Shenandoah Valley below. The associated historic farm site is a great place to visit even if you aren't up for the hike.

Humpback Rock is a massive greenstone outcropping near the peak of Humpback Mountain in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Augusta County and Nelson County, Virginia, United States, with a summit elevation of 3,080 feet.

The Humpback Rock trail has several options, one of which is 3.8 miles, the others 6 miles and 12.8 miles. Check out All Trails for more detailed information. Additional parking can be found at the Humpback Rocks Visitor Center and Mountain Farm if the trail parking lot is too crowded.
