Oil Creek is known for its bass and trout. Three streams provide brook trout fishing: Boughton Run, Toy Run, Jones Run. Also hiking, picnicking, kayaking, hunting, biking, sledding.

Spacious park provides a museum, historic tableaus, recreational activities & an excursion train. A bicycle trail runs from the park to Titusville and the Drake Well Museum. Many many beginner and advanced hiking trails.
