This historic Civil War battlefield is where the Union troops had victory over the Confederate army in a battle that lasted for two days in July of 1864. The Union army blocked the railroads from sending supplies as a tactical measure to halt the Confederate army. Here you will find two cannons and gravesite markers along with a memorial. This historic landmark is open throughout the day.
