Lovely, relaxed winery. They are soon to open a cellar door restaurant as well. 10min drive out of town.

The Ritchies are great friends of ours and are doing a stellar job in providing an extensive array of wines. They are opening their new cellar door in May which has one of the best views in Victoria. Currently you can buy a picnic hamper and enjoy food and wine with a stunning backdrop. They also frequently hold events so it is worthwhile checking their website to see if they are holding an event while you are here. I recently went to see Shakespeare in the vines - Romeo and Juliet - which was the best performance I have seen of this classic play!

Stunning wines, in a beautiful setting = this might be heaven. Try the Gewurtz if you're into your whites, the Pinot is a cracker if red is your thing. Regardless, get a case, then get back to Sylvan and Relax.
