Olsnessåta (600m a.s.l.). Great views of the fjord, easy trip suitable also for kids. There are some lakes if you continue few hundreds meters towards Knausane afterwards which are suitable for swimming (N 60.4949045, E 5.6945134).

Our Osterøy favorite, with 270 degrees fjord view at 600m above sea level. The trail is a nice 7km, rocky roundtrip. Drive along the fjord past beautiful Bruvik and see the most dramatic parts of Osterøy. Free, large parking at Båtaleitet, 16km from Sofiahuset. Several trails start here. To get to your starting point, cross the main road and follow the signs towards Rispingen.
