Very nice place for a run or just to get outdoors for a walk. Take bug spray!

Incredible birdwatching and trails. Wildlife Drive is open when birds not nesting - usually July thru Oct. Sandhill cranes, owls, eagles, water birds like avocets and Northern Shovelers, pintails, teals, Caspian terns.

A bit of a drive (20 minutes) but the trails and views of wildlife and birds is what makes it worth the trip. During autumn the fall color is fantastic set against the rivers and marshes.
