Take the bus or drive here. I love this trail, out by the Glacier. It's an easy, flat mile on a wide trail dotted with waterfalls. It was the site of a powerline taking hydro power from Nugget Creek to the Treadwell mine on Douglas more than 100 years ago- an engineering feat! For more of a hike, climb the stairs just past the old powerhouse to the Trail of Time, then continue to the East Glacier loop (which also connects to Nugget Creek trails).
