Mary Queen of Scotts paintings and stair case that she walked down before going to be beheaded at Fotheringhay Castle is in the building. There is a large frees on the wall of the restaurant of her.

The staircase that Mary Queen of Scots grasped as she awaited her beheading is located here. Legend has it, there is a ring mark somewhere on the stairs....
