This is a gorgeous beach off of Lake Erie, with a boating ramp, sand bar, a great BBQ place on the lake, The Breakwall. Definitely worth stopping. It is generally peaceful, even with the amount of people in the summer. There is also a D-Day Reenactment in August, one of the largest in the US.

The best beach in the area, in my opinion! Huge beach, lighthouse, playground, concession stand, restrooms, a gazebo, plenty of parking, paved walking trails, basketball courts, what more could you need for a day at the beach? My only complaint - it's not dog friendly (sorry).

Located at 480 Lake Rd (SR 531) in Conneaut, Ohio, this 60-acre park has outdoor activities as well as a large beach set below natural bluffs. It is open seasonally from April 1st through November 15th. Gates open daily at 7:00 am and close at dusk. The concession stand is open daily from May - September, 11am - 8pm.
