This Catholic cathedral is home to many of Savannah's Catholic locals. It is open to the public to join in worship during mass or between masses to sightsee or tour. You will be blown away by the beautiful murals and architecture.

Known as the "Southern Sistine", Trip Advisor lists the Cathedral as one of the top 25 places in the world to see! French Gothic architecture. Open for touring Monday-Saturday 9am-11:45 and 12:45-5:00pm. A small donation of $2.00 is appreciated. The church was dedicated on its current site in 1876. Much of the structure was destroyed by fire in 1898. Was rebuilt quickly and reopened in 1900. It remains in the top 10 places to visit in the United States.

St. John’s is a beautiful display of architecture. You can tour the inside during the day for free and if you would like May give a small donation to help the church. This is where the famous St. Patrick’s day events in Savannah kick off each year.
