A partir de Rivièra Beach un petit Ferry pour vous amener sur Peanut Island. Une belle petite ile tranquille avec de belles plages où il est possible d'appercevoir des bancs de poissons en apnée. On peut aussi y rencontrer des "Manatee". Il y a un petit chemin qui fait le tour pour profiter d'une belle petite marche. Le tour au complet peut prendre environ 20-30 minutes.

Peanut Island is a small island in Florida’s Lake Worth Lagoon. It’s located in a beautiful area, between Riviera Beach, Singer Island and Palm Beach. Peanut Island is a county park, and is open to the public. Admission is free, although there is a cost to ride a public ferry if you don’t have your own boat. The island is very easy to visit, even though it requires a short ferry ride. Peanut Island is easily one of the best beaches in Florida, and is my favorite beach I’ve found in Florida. Some people visit every weekend, and say they never get bored with it Peanut Island has something for everyone. It’s quiet and peaceful during the week, and a lively boat/beach party spot on weekends and holidays.

If you want to be where all the locals and boaters go on the weekend, Peanut Island is the place to be. Don’t worry if you don’t have a boat- take the ferry for a cheap daily fee or get adventurous and rent kayaks in the local shops! Once you get to the island you’ll understand why this is the cool spot to hangout; having your own private beach, linking up with others relaxing and enjoying the sun, or exploring the island and it’s campsites, snorkeling lagoons, or cooking a meal on their grills- a weekend here is time well spent.
