My favourite park in the winter time. A trail around the deer lake. Stunning view in the fall.

Beautiful walk around the lake (about 45 minutes) takes you through forest, wetlands, a grassy outdoor amphitheatre and heritage buildings. You can rent paddle boats on the lake at the East side.

Deer Lake Park is situated in a peaceful natural environment that serves as the cultural centre of our city. Leisurely walking trails with scenic views connect the lake, Burnaby Art Gallery, Shadbolt Centre for the Arts, Burnaby Village Museum and Hart House restaurant.
