Our local green space. It’s a 15/20 minute walk (slightly uphill) so worth jumping in the car if you have young kids. There is a free car park on Dr Johnson Avenue. Great playground, cafe and pond.

Tooting Common comes right the way up into Balham. Such a lovely Common and great for both short and longer walks

Good for running, also a Lido (public open air not heated swimming pool), and walking. Tennis courts too and good for playing frisbee or hanging out with local Londoners!

Great for jogging, picnicking, sunbathing, pottering, dog walking and just relaxing. Lots of nice cafes and ponds.
