Avalon is relatively new to downtown A2, but they have been a Detroit staple for many years. The food and ambience are excellent. They’ve got jazz bands playing some nights. Famous for the breads (Motown Multigrain is my favorite.) The food is organic, healthy, tasty. Not too expensive.

Great breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as grab-and-go foods. Comfortable seating in the cafe area and restaurant seating in the main dining area.

🚶♀️🚴The original is in Detroit and this place opened a couple of years ago in A2. We especially like Avalon for breakfast.

Restaurant, cafe, and bakery all in one. Great for any meal, breakfast through dinner - we love their brunch!
