Great little neighborhood restaurant with an upscale feel. Tasty food and good wine with a great ambiance.

This really is a well kept local secret. The BEST chicken and waffles you will ever have. I would recommend reservations although you may not need them.

A little more upscale than the beach scene, with a more sophisticated menu. If you want a "dress up" night without a trip downtown, Edison fits the bill. Not that there is a dress code, flip flops and shorts are fine. Reasonably priced for the quality of the dishes they serve. Outdoor seating is available. Technically more than 3 miles away, but still on James Island
