Lahore Museum, also called Central Museum, in Lahore, Pak., archaeological museum opened in 1894 and containing examples of the arts and crafts of the province of Punjab, including sculpture, coins, and Kangra (Pahari) and Mughal paintings fabrics and more.
The rather dusty and archaic layout still don't detract from the stunning artefacts which continually reference the polyglot and multi-layered history of Pakistan, and South Asia more widely. Don't miss 'Kim's Gun' or Zamzama, the cannon parked outside of Rudyard Kipling fame.
Must take a look at the only original artifact of Starving Buddha, all the others in the rest of the world are replicas.
