It hosts a kickass show on first Tuesdays called The Scientists. Blythe Roberson and Madelyn Freed delve into a scientific concept that science kinda got wrong the first time. The best alt comedians in the city do hysterical bits about the concept, and the show ends interviewing an actual scientist. It’s funny and intellectually rewarding. Look out for Blythe. “This place is for coffee and tea and breakfast and lunch. Some pastries are there too. Its not so cozy because there is a big plate glass window where you can see out, and everyone else can see in! Its great place for a casual meetup, as long as you don't get too loud. People are there reading and studying.”

“The use of organic, sustainably raised ingredients from local producers is why Rose Water earned a loyal following of locals who settle in the muted, earth-toned room to peruse a menu that changes frequently but is reliably stacked with bold flavors. Main courses may include grilled striped bass with fiddleheads, bacon, shiitake mushrooms and almond milk or tender braised beef short ribs with braised red cabbage, mustard spaetzle and horseradish-dill cream.”
