When Frank Gehry built the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain and covered the exterior in titanium I took a trip there to see it. Then, a couple years later, he did the same thing in Los Angeles when he designed the LA Philharmonic. It's an epic piece of architecture.
If you can get tickets to the LA Phil .. do it...Dudamel is inspiring, but our guest conductors are also incredible ... you can often get last minute tickets for very little... the Disney Hall is itself a work of art
