Fun divey bar that hosts open mics on Thursdays. A variety of people of various subcultures and backgrounds gather here. You never know what’s in store for you at Joe’s—which is part of what makes it so fun.

We usually go early to this dive bar, so it's pretty quiet, but the food and drinks are both good and cheap! Music, comedy or trivia nights start about 10:00. Check them out on Facebook.

Grungy bar that is literally underground. You will pass it if you don't look for the lengthy stairs going down beside 8th street. It's a cool dive bar. The scene is eclectic. Don't be swayed by the odd entrance, and yes that's the bouncer generally at the bottom of the staircase. On a busy night, it can be a neat experience. Live music and karaoke are done here.
