If you are a foreigner, it is worth missing a day among its many and varied stands of local crafts. Very cheap and unique to decorate a barbecue table, mates, picnics, campsites, etc. You can also find typical elements of gaucho decoration and low price furniture. Days to go: Saturday and Sunday from morning to sunset. On Thursdays and Fridays they open 60% of the premises and there are fewer people. Parking: complicated and maybe you'll have to walk a few blocks. There are restaurants and fast food bars. Bathrooms: only in restaurants .... You can hire a boat ride through the islands of the mouth of the Paraná River. Bring mosquito repellent !!!! and hat to cover the sun (from October to Ap

Great spot to walk and wander by the water at Tigre at the Parana delta. Check out the puerto de frutos with its many different little shops and museums to see. You can also visit Museo Naval and Museo de Arte. On Sundays the place is bustling with families as there are many different activities to do such as canoeing and rowing as well as just wandering an enjoying the walk by the river. You can also enjoy coffee at Villa Julia, a Victorian hotel/coffee shop, reminiscent of Europe. Tigre is definitely a spot for an all-day outing.

The Puerto de Frutos is a mostly open-air market in the old port of Tigre, where growers used to bring their fruits and vegetables to sell. Now, you can find all kinds of hand-crafted items and lots of other things like mate cups, jewelry, leather products, hammocks, furniture, spices, cheese, food and snacks. There's even a Subway sandwich shop and a Havanna coffee shop, so relax and enjoy!
