Take a trip to Totnes up the Dart. Be sure to time your trip to enable you to look around Totnes. (check tide times for return journey). The walk from the where the boat moors in Totnes to town is about 20 mins there and 20 back along a flat road, however Totnes shops are all on a hill Beautiful scenary, but can get cold for those older famy members, so take a blanket!
