If you prefer a swimming spot on the lake, then Belmont Baths will be just right. A free swimming spot with amenities. The baths is a jetty with an attached swimming enclosure measuring 70m out by 45m wide. Across the road is the cafe 'Common Circus' which has good coffee. Located at 36 Brooks Parade, Belmont.

The place to watch the sunset. Have a meal and a drink at one of the waterfront sailing clubs or picnic in the park.

3 minute walk. Down to waterfront turn left. Lovely pathway, bbq's, new playground at southern end. Cafe across road. 2 Wharf's for swimming or fishing from. New Lake Macquarie ferry leaves from southern wharf.
