There are walking trails all along Middle Island and it's perfect for sitting on the beach, fishing or just enjoying the park like venue for the day.

Beautiful beach ⛱ within city limits with an amazing history. A person/group could hang outhere all day long!

Awaiting you on the Island is an Interpretive Centre, Captain's Galley Restaurant, walking trails, beach area, murals, picnic sites, bird watching, amphitheatre, kiosk, memorial benches and the joy of tranquility.

Beautiful river view, restaraunt , picnic area, fishing, and local history. A great place to relax and enjoy.

Historical site about Irish immigrants escaping Ireland during the potatoe famine heading to Canada for a better life but due to horrific conditions on ships many contracted contagious diseases and were quarantined to this Island with many dying here. Great history, nice trails and beach.
