Lisbon is built in layers since 3000 and some years ago, so you'll find different remainings of different cultures, this is where the remainings of the roman anphitheater are located :)

You don't even have to pay to see the ruins from the top (pay if you like to take a closer look!) and it's either on the way to the supermarket or Castelo.

Originally founded at the time of the emperor Augustus, these ruins cross over two millennia of history. Parts of the grandstand, from the area of the orchestra and the stage were recovered.
