International Fireworks competition is yearly in August!

If you are in town during the last week of August, check out Globalfest at Elliston Park. This international fire works competition is worth the low admission cost. Tickets are available at Calgary Co-ops and there is one just north of here. OR Enjoy a walk around the lake on any day. There is a good path around and birders enjoy the water and other fowl who visit.

Great walking path. Spectacular sunsets and sunrises over the lake. Beware there are badgers!
