Vuurtoreneiland is an experience. If you are able to get a reservation (book a few months ahead or check their Facebook for last minute offers). You get an a boat from Lloyd Hotel, together with all the other guests and almost all of the staff, you sail for about 45 minutes and then.... you arrive on a deserted little island, overlooking the Markermeer. It's a pure and peaceful setting, very romantic. The restaurant is in a very cool glass house, and the food is organic. Same owner as restaurant As.

There is no place like this !!! They will take you by boat to "Vuurtoren eiland" around 18.00 hours. Going through a waterlock whilst you are having your starters. You will have some time to explore the island. After having a wonderfull dinner they will take you back around midnight by boat. A beautyfull nightview of Amsterdam harbour will be yours. Make no mistake...no reservation...no entree !!
