The archaelogical site of the villa of the Emperor Tiberius perched on the highest point of Mount Tiberius. Worth a visit only just for the views.

Roman ruins always have a great charm. Inside the archaeological site you will find what remains of 12 villas and 3000 square meters of adjacent gardens, designed and built by Roman architects. Characteristic of the time are the bathrooms and the aqueduct system, something truly extraordinary. Legend has it that the "Salto di Tiberio" is a precipice on the sea, near the ticket office, from where the Emperor Tiberius threw the subjects he didn't like. After a short walk along Via Tiberio and Via Matermània you will arrive in front of the Natural Arch, a rocky structure that forms an arch in the middle of the sea, one of the most attractive points of the entire island.
