Here the visitors experience the history of the film. The manifold aspects of the medium are conveyed - beginning with the first moving pictures, the invention of cinematography and the modern special effects. Daily, the Black Box shows a multifaceted film program: classics, silent films, drama, action and comedy, young cinema and premieres. If you like to become active yourself, you can also take part in one of the workshops to gain insights into film practice.
