Fermentery Form Saturday is your only shot at going to Kensington’s Fermentery Form (but look to IG for a surprise “We’re Open!” post on a Wednesday or Thursday night), and trust me, you want to get there for the beautiful, funky beers fermented in oak barrels that surround the taproom. I really love Form to Table, a bright, low-ABV table beer, as well as Formhouse, a tart farmhouse ale. Snag a couple bottles to bring back home with you. This stuff is impossible to find outside of Philly.

9 minutes walking. A small artisan brewery in West Kensington, Philadelphia. We produce delicate and flavorful beers, fermented with our own mixed cultures. A central pillar of our production is our Solera system. This pyramid of barrels contains beer of various ages, in an array of oak types from around the world. This allows us a broad palette for blending beers to our unique taste.

Tiny brewery tucked down a dark alley. Unusual and tasty beers. Open hours are a bit of a mystery, check their social media. Only take out at the moment due to our strange liquor laws.
