located at the base of Killington and Pico peaks, Gifford Woods State Park includes one the few remaining old-growth hardwood tree stands in Vermont. Popular with through and day hikers alike, Gifford Woods offers a variety of easy to moderate hiking trails, as well as more challenging trails that take you to the Appalachian Trail. Camping, picnicking and fishing are also possible.
