The Museum is one of Cambridge's major attractions, displaying thousands of specimens spanning the entire animal kingdom, from elephants, giant ground sloths and giraffes, to birds, reptiles, insects and molluscs. It is part of the University of Cambridge Department of Zoology and welcomes over 100,000 visitors every year. Entry to the Museum is free.
This a new addition to Cambridge and is fantastic, great for children too even toddlers as most things are toddler height in glass cabinets.
Very interesting small Zoology museum from Cambridge University. Recently renovated. Free to access.
A rear Wow! museum for children, with skeletons of massive creatures, as well as a resource for the studious... On a university site in central Cambridge, surrounded by other faculty buildings, which also makes it an interesting venue. Parking is expensive; of you are visiting for the day we recommend park & ride or train.
