It is very little, this house where the Czaar stayed when he was learning about building ships in Holland. It gives a good idea about living in the 1850's.

Our only claim to historical fame in Zaandam Centre! Apparently Czar Peter the Great (Петр Великий) spent a few days here to learn shipbuilding. After which he went to Amsterdam, as you'll do :-) His statue is on Dam Square.
