Quality food and service. Reservation is required and is located in Waimea. Great place to eat when traveling to the North side of the island for a special meal.

The well known Merrimans restaurant in Waimea. Wonderful dine in serving lunch from 11:30-2 and Dinner from 5-8pm. Reservations highly recommended.

Chef Peter Merriman is a well known chef in Hawaii who has multiple restaurants throughout the state. And once you eat at one of his restaurants, you’ll understand why people keep coming back! Merriman’s Big Island is an upscale restaurant that you will probably want to make reservations for. It’s located in Waimea near Parker Ranch, which at one point was the largest cattle ranch in the country. Chef Merriman goes for local ingredients whenever he can and he uses them masterfully and it shows in his food.
