Kangaroos and Koalas are prevalent here. Dusk and dawn best time to see wildlife as they come out to feed. Short walks around park.

You will see about 50 kangaroos in their natural habitat plus at least one koala if you look hard enough.

Coombabah Lake Conservation Park, is an important Wetland region. Located about 3k from my location. A must go to.

Great for walking or bike riding. Lots of kangaroos to see basically anytime of the day. The odd koala as well

A visit to the Gold Coast is not complete without Venturing a little west to the Coombabah Conservation Parklands. Here you can immerse yourself in walks through Melaluecas, along boardwalks and marvel at the swamp like conditions. Not only are the walks enchanting, you can almost be guaranteed of a meeting with kangaroos, wallabies and koalas in their natural environment.
