Cais de Gaia is a tourist area of terraces, restaurants and bars, located on the left bank of the Douro River, in Vila Nova de Gaia, next to the many port wine cellars. Its views are towards the Ribeira do Porto, a UNESCO heritage site.

You can go by cable car from Vila Nova de Gaia to Cais de Gaia. It is near the river and ther are lots of restaurants, bares and shops.
