Local paleontology, geology, & live regional animals combined with world-class traveling exhibits. A favorite for young & old. ASTC (Association of Science & Technology Centers) members get free entrance.

Great for kids. It's a neat museum owned by the university focusing on dinosaurs and other natural history.

35 min drive. A great getaway with lots of history. An Animatronic dinosaur exhibit and many fossils that were found just down the interstate from Collyer!

If you like science and history you'll love the Sternberg Museum. Something to know is that a $65 annual family membership will get you into over 400 science and technology museums in the US for free including Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Cosmosphere (Hutchinson, KS), Exploration Place (Wichita, KS), and the Flint Hills Discovery Center (Manhattan, KS).
