A short walk away. This Central City museum is dedicated to the collection and preservation of the visual aesthetic of descendants of African peoples in North America and beyond.

I visited the museum to help with a special event while doing AmeriCorps in the city a few years ago. It's not very large but the grand white house is beautiful and I'd suggest than it was quality over quantity in regards to the works that were displayed when I visited.
