NEARBY! this is where samba makes history. If you don't mind standing on the sidewalk, you can grab a cold beer as old samba schooler will sit around the table and play traditional tunes.

As little more than a hole-in-the-wall on a side street in Copacabana, old-timers and locals, as well as some in-the-know tourists, flock to hear the traditional samba de roda and choro music performed live here almost every night.
